The course is lined with a multidude of cherry trees. An extremely beautiful course to play in June when these trees are in bloom. The magnificent panoramas of the Alps in the background adds to the pure esthetic pleasure associated with playing Montreux. Though the main golfing challenges of this course is in avoinding the trees, which come often into play, it equates non-the-less to a pleasant round with friends of differing abilities. There are No water (hazards) on the course at all.
